Position Profile:
The Research Analyst reports to the Senior Director(s), Research in the intellectual leadership and administrative oversight of the Research Department.

In support of the Senior Directors and Vice President Research, the Research Analyst contributes to the intellectual development and organization of CIFAR's research portfolio, including research programs and departmental operations and acts as a representative of the Institute at external meetings and engagements. The Research Analyst maintains existing relationships and fosters new stakeholder relationships within the Canadian and international research landscape.

Supports the Senior Directors, Research and Vice President, Research in the intellectual leadership and administrative oversight of the Institute's research portfolio
Provides institutional support and administrative organizations of assigned research programs and research-related activities including development and operationalization of new research related initiatives
Provides leadership within the Research Department and works collaboratively across the organization


Recent PhD degree recipients or postdocs. Preference given to candidates with a background in any of the following: computer & information science, geosciences, life sciences, social, behavioral and economic sciences.
