Be Passionate.
You are passionate about student success and are energized about working with a diverse student body with a range of support needs. You will provide operational leadership for Accessibility and Disability Services for the college. Your experience with and passion for disability services will help to provide guidance and leadership to our Student Success Advisors, Learning Commons staff and college personnel on their approach to student accommodations.

Take Initiative.
Your experience in disability services and accommodation will enable you to provide leadership and professional development to the college in the areas of accessibility and disabilities. You will develop transition programs and supports to assist students transitioning to college. Your experience and creativity in disability services will be useful in ensuring decision making practices, procedures, case management, student support practices and accommodation policies are current and relevant. You are a person who has the ability to take charge when need be, but are able to be a part of the greater disability services team. Collaboration with colleagues is imperative as you will be looked to for your expertise and you must be able to train and pass along that expertise in a concerted way.

Deliver Results.
You will have a passion for student success and professional development, a graduate degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five years' experience in an educational setting. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of assessment and psycho-educational testing and reports and will have experience in group facilitation and classroom presentations. You will be a strong communicator who enjoys working in a solutions-focused team environment, where you strive to lead change and understand the personal and academic needs of college students. Regular travel to provincial satellite campuses will be required.
