Archaeology Field School in Cuba

The Department of Anthropology at Saint Mary's University is pleased to announce an archaeological field school in Cuba from June 3-17, 2017. This course provides practical training in archaeological field methods, including: reconnaissance, excavation and recording. Students will be given instruction in artifact processing, identification and interpretation. These skills will be developed while working on an archaeological research project uncovering the hidden, but not forgotten, slave plantation landscape. Join our team of Canadian and Cuban archaeologists; and Cuban, Canadian and International students in an experience of a lifetime. Click the link below for more details.
