International Journal of Canadian Studies: Call for Submissions

The International Journal of Canadian Studies is currently accepting essays exploring a broad range of topics and approaches in the study of Canada. In addition to the general foci of the journals published in Spring and Fall 2017, the IJCS editors propose a special themed issue for Spring 2018 relating to the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation. Submissions may evaluate this topic from different perspectives, including those relating to positive experiences under Confederation and those using a more critical perspective (such as provincial/aboriginal) and others. Scholars are also encouraged to include Critical Dialogue sections in order to add various points of view about their chosen theme. Please visit

for more information regarding submissions to IJCS, including guidelines. Deadline to submit an essay is December 29, 2017.
