Congratulations to Marley Duckett on the successful defence of her Master’s thesis, “Energy Consultations on Treaty 8 Lands: The Effects of Oil Extraction on Peerless Trout First Nation”. Congratulations also to her supervisor Dr. Clint Westman from the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Saskatchewan.
Congratulations to Brittany Schaefer on the successful defence of her Master’s thesis in Public Issues Anthropology, “Rock climbing on the Niagara Escarpment: Emerging entanglements of care at the crag”. Congratulations also to her advisor, Dr. Karine Gagné and committee member Dr. Tad McIlwraith from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Guelph.
Congratulations to Betsy Hagestedt on the successful defence of her PhD dissertation, “La Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador (CONAIE) and La Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas de la Amazonía Ecuatoriana (CONFENIAE) Online and On-the-Ground: Representational Choices and Indigenous Media Sovereignty”. Congratulations also to her advisor, Dr. Alexandrine Boudreault-Fournier from the Department of Anthropology at the University of Victoria.
