CASCA's work is supported by membership and donations from people like you.
Why Donate?
CASCA is recognized as a Learned Society, an organization that promotes education and research.
Your financial support enables us to fund our student grants, networks and awards so we can continue our mission to promote anthropological research in Canada and worldwide.
When you donate, you can choose to donate towards:
- The Women’s Network – Supporting women in anthropology
- The Student Travel Grant – Allowing students of anthropology to attend our annual conference
- The Salisbury Award – Commemorating the achievements of Richard Salisbury
- General CASCA Fund – Supporting the creation and administration of resources like the Job Bank, our journal Anthropologica, the Culture Newsletter and our website.
All donations large and small are welcomed.
How to Donate
Gifts from individual or corporate donors are welcomed, and for each donation an official tax receipt will be issued.
Since donors cannot benefit in more than a nominal way from their own gifts we are unable to offer tax receipts for membership subscriptions. However, if you would like to donate additional monies over and above your membership fees please get in touch with our treasurer, Daniel Tubb, who can arrange a tax receipt.
