CASCA Policy on Sexual Harassment
· Policy
Sexual harassment in all its forms will not be tolerated at the annual conference of the Canadian Anthropological Society (CASCA). Our culture is founded on mutual respect and collaboration. CASCA will make every effort to protect its members, staff and any other person from harassment, assault and any other misconduct during their participation in activities and events overseen by CASCA. Our goal is that everyone participating in our events feels protected and safe.
This policy applies to anyone taking part in a CASCA event, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, status, employment, seniority, status or any other protected characteristic. This policy builds on CASCA's Statement on Harassment issued in July 2019.
Anyone taking part in CASCA's annual conference has access to the following resources regarding reporting an incident and the disciplinary actions that will result.
